Greenpeace UK Three Year Strategy

In 2024, I was asked to be the Communications Lead on a pivotal project: developing Greenpeace UK’s three-year strategy for 2025-2027.

Over six months, I worked closely with senior leadership, campaigners and key stakeholders to distill complex strategic decisions into clear, compelling communications. Chiefly, a strategy document to be shared with board members, supporters and the public at large.

The strategy has a bold mission: to halve emissions and restore biodiversity by the end of this decade in a fair and equitable way. It seeks to reaffirm and strengthen Greenpeace UK’s role in the environmental movement, overhaul internal processes to ensure diversity and inclusion targets are met, and confront the shifting political landscape.

With critical climate and nature deadlines looming, the stakes couldn’t be higher. That’s why this strategy leads with hope. It isn’t just about challenges – it’s about solutions. It champions the change we know is possible and inspires action at a time when the world needs it most.

Safe to say, it’s one of the most ambitious projects I’ve worked on as a freelancer and I was honoured to have been asked to participate.
